Overview

Walk for Revival ("we", "us") helps individuals and churches record prayer walks and build their own prayer-coverage map. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your data. We do not sell or share your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we use no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Information we collect

  • Account details — your name and email address, provided when you sign up with email, Google, or Apple. (Sign in with Apple may relay a private email if you choose.)
  • Location data — precise GPS location while you are recording a walk, used to draw your route. Recording runs only when you start a walk, and can continue in the background until you stop it.
  • Walk content — your routes, distances, times, and any prayer notes (including their location) that you create.
  • Preferences — settings such as units and default walk privacy.

How we use your information

  • To record and display your prayer walks and statistics.
  • To build your own personal prayer-coverage map.
  • To sync your account across your devices.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the app.

To label your walk with a city/country, the app reverse-geocodes a coarse position using your device's operating-system geocoder (Apple on iOS, Google on Android). We don't send your location to any other geocoding service.

Your routes are private to you

Your individual routes and prayer notes are never shown to other people. There is no public map of anyone's walks. If you choose to count a walk toward your city's or an event's totals, only the aggregate numbers (walks, distance, prayer-note counts) contribute — your route geometry, note text, and identity are not shared or displayed to others.

Where your data is stored

Your account and walk data are stored using Supabase, our cloud backend provider (Postgres database, authentication, and storage). Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Sub-processors

We share data only with the providers needed to run the app:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage (your account, walks, routes, and notes).
  • Google & Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them, to authenticate your account.
  • OpenStreetMap / OpenFreeMap — open-source map tiles.
  • Expo — app builds and over-the-air updates.

We use no advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Your privacy rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export (port), or restrict/object to the processing of your personal data. We do not sell or share personal information. You can exercise most rights directly in the app (Settings → Delete account), or contact us at developer@whitecloudsmedia.com and we'll respond within 30 days. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or by emailing us at developer@whitecloudsmedia.com. Deletion removes your profile, walks, routes, and prayer notes immediately and irreversibly; residual copies are purged from encrypted backups within 30 days.

Children

Walk for Revival is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
